Pastor – The Rev. W. Roger Randolph III

We are pleased to announce that on May 28, 2023, Christ Lutheran Community Church voted to call The Rev. W. Roger Randolph III as the next pastor and he accepted the call. He started in this capacity on July 12, 2023.

On Saturday, July 1, 2023 he was ordained to the Roster of Word and Sacrament (pastor) in the Southeastern Pennsylvania Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).  The ordination took place in his home church, First English Evangelical Lutheran Church in downtown Pittsburgh, PA. On Sunday, July 16th, he was installed as pastor at Christ Lutheran Community Church.

He is also a Captain and Chaplain in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, serving with the 103D Brigade Engineer Battalion.

Originally from Pittsburgh, Pastor Randolph is a 2019 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering with a Minor in Africana Studies.

Pastor Randolph has a strong passion for liturgy, the history and tradition of the Church, and speaking eternal truths into our contemporary world. His hobbies include hiking, climbing, biking, running, skiing, and listening to NPR way too much.
